Crystal Palace managed to secure all three points against Huddersfield Town on Saturday as Wilfried Zaha came up with the goods.
The Eagles will be eyeing a top half finish under Roy Hodgson in the current campaign having displayed moments of promise and brilliance so far. Although, one of Hodgson’s men is attracting interest, as according to The Sun on Sunday (16/09, page 63) (via HITC), Nottingham Forest want Crystal Palace’s Jason Puncheon.
Nottingham Forest are reportedly already eyeing a loan swoop for Jason Puncheon in January.
It’s claimed that summer switches to Aston Villa and Middlesbrough collapsed in the last moments of the window and the 32-year-old is set to be allowed to leave when January arrives.
Jason Puncheon is yet to play in the Premier League this term and evidently has no future at Selhurst Park.
Indeed, the Eagles won’t mind sending him out on loan during the January transfer window and could even be open to a permanent deal in the future, as the ageing midfielder hasn’t been a part of Roy Hodgson’s plans.
The 32-year-old has been a great servant in the English capital and will always be remember for the magnificent goals he has scored over the years, but his days at Selhurst Park are numbered.
