West Ham United put in a dominant display against Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Saturday as they secured a 3-0 win.
The Hammers appear to be heading in the right direction under Manuel Pellegrini after a rough start to proceedings, with a successful January helping their quest for a potential European spot in the second half of the season.
However, it appears as if one of the standout performers from Saturday’s game is eyeing a move away, as according to El Gol Digital (via This is Futbol), Javier Hernandez is seeking an immediate January exit.
It’s understood that the forward is ‘dissatisfied’ at the London Stadium after struggling for game time for large parts of the current campaign under Manuel Pellegrini.
And, it’s thought that the Mexican is seeking an immediate exit as a result, with the likes of Real Sociedad and Valencia circling for his signature.
The forward grabbed a brace against Newcastle United last time out, so the Hammers won’t want to lose him after witnessing his upturn in form.
The 30-year-old’s performance against the Magpies could be a sign of things to come.
Javier Hernandez is slowly starting to rediscover some form in the Premier League, which is great news for West Ham United as they’ve had to rely on Marko Arnautovic for large parts.
However, with the forward supposedly seeking an immediate January transfer window exit, the Hammers will be desperate to hold onto him for the rest of the season at least.
