Who he might replace isn’t a complicated puzzle to solve, but what sort of performance he might actually deliver is another thing altogether. Jenas was once branded, due to his ability to split opinion, as Marmite. But that is no longer an accurate moniker as some people actually profess to like Marmite.
He does have form for raising his game against Arsenal, but it must be questioned as to where his head is at after a losing his starting place and Lord only knows what he would think if he dipped into virtually any Spurs forum this season.
With the threat of Sandro on the horizon, it’s difficult to see him staying, but that may not negate him mounting a brief campaign for any new suitors come August in these, last, few games.
