Burnley haven’t been able to ensure consistency in the current campaign, which has had a negative effect on their current league position in the top-flight of English football.
The Clarets will be hoping for better times under Sean Dyche after securing a European spot last season, with plenty of improvements to be had from here on in. Although, it appears as if one of the club’s promising young players is attracting interest, as according to the Burnley Express, Craig Levein wants to keep Jimmy Dunne until May.
Dunne is currently due to return to Turf Moor on January 7th, but the Hearts manager Craig Levein would like to keep him until May.
The 21-year-old delivered his most commanding display yet in a maroon shirt during the midweek 0-0 draw with Hibs at Tynecastle.
“I would be delighted with that but I’ll leave that to them [club officials]. It would be amazing,”
Jimmy Dunne has the potential to be a real hit at Burnley if he can continue to come on leaps and bounds in Scotland, with his recent performances highlighting his quality.
Although, with the defender hoping to stay at Hearts until the end of the season, perhaps he will look to push through a permanent move in the future.
