Arsenal had a fairly positive window by the club’s recent standards as Emery managed to bring in five new players early in the window.

After years of indecision and last-minute transfer deals in the transfer market, the Gunners finally got their business done early in the transfer window.

Arsenal will not challenge for the title this season but with Geundouzi, Sokratis, Leno, Lichtsteiner, and Torreira, the club will improve, albeit probably not instantly.

With these new faces at the club, Emery is now looking to sell any players that won’t feature much for the club, and one of them that could be about to leave is Arsenal’s forgotten man, Joel Campbell.

After so many years on loan, it appears the Costa Rican is close to a move to Serie A side Frosinone according to Italian journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio.

After spending six seasons away on loan, it’s become quite clear that the Costa Rican international just isn’t up to the standard for Arsenal.

The winger was omitted from Arsenal’s tour of Singapore which would probably indicate that Emery doesn’t really see a place for him in his plans.

Moreover, with only a year left on his current deal, it makes sense for Arsenal to get rid of him now.

The 26-year-old has at times shown promise but with the likes of Danny Welbeck, Alex Iwobi and most likely Reiss Nelson ahead of him, a move away seems right for all.

So Arsenal fans, what do you think about this transfer?
