This Inter web football malarky is awash with petitions, campaigns and general mutterings of unrest. Some appear unable to simply cannot cope with the fact that football is less jumpers for goal posts these days and more skull duggery and shareholders.

Supporters associations are at their very best a mixed bag, generally infested by substandard types who failed the audition for local government auditions.
Again, my perception of SOS is that this is a well thought out organization and one worth taking seriously. And I’m a Tottenham fan, dammit.
In January 2008 over 350 Liverpool supporters crammed into The Sandon pub, Anfield, and discussed not only the custodianship of our current owners but the wider issues that affect us as supporters.
Issues that have been discussed by fans for decades, issues where almost unanimous desire for change is consistently met by indifference from the club – all these were aired and on a historic and emotional night, ‘Spirit Of Shankly’, the Liverpool Supporters’ Union was born.
