Jose Mourinho identifies three world class stars that he wants to take to Manchester United with him

Manchester United v Manchester City - Barclays Premier LeagueThe Manchester United supporters here in the Transfer Tavern are already casting one eye firmly towards next season, with several of the Red Devils faithful discussing who will sign for the club in the summer.

With Jose Mourinho widely expected to take over from Louis van Gaal, it is highly likely that the Portuguese boss will want to put his own mark on the squad at his disposal.

Our landlord has some pretty exciting news for the United contingent here in the Tavern and it comes via The Metro, who are quoting an article from Don Balon, that says the United hierarchy have been told to sign any of Gonzalo Higuain, Alvaro Morata or James Rodriguez by the former Chelsea boss, ahead of his arrival.

The trio would surely make United genuine title contenders once again and the striking duo of Morata and Higuain would be a mouthwatering prospect, whether United could secure all three however, remains to be seen.

One United fan is sat puffing on his e-cigarette and isn’t convinced by this news at all. He says that United need to worry about securing Champions League qualification before they can entertain the thought of attracting such talent to Old Trafford.

Manchester United supporters, what do you make to the linked trio? Would you welcome them to the club?
