Jose Mourinho lining up swoop on old club to bring Chelsea star to Man United

The Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern believe that attacking reinforcements are needed this summer.

Manchester United have some decent options in the attacking areas, such as Juan Mata, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial.

But Jose Mourinho wants to add strength in depth and competition for those forward spots.

The Red Devils have recently been linked with Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann and Everton’s Ross Barkley as they aim for some new signings this summer.

However, another name that has recently popped up is Chelsea attacker Willian, according to The Daily Star.

Willian has had to play second fiddle for much of this campaign under Antonio Conte despite being the standout player for Chelsea last season.

The success of Pedro and Eden Hazard has made it very difficult for Willian to claim a regular spot in the starting XI and the 28-year-old might be tempted to reunite with his old boss Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.

The Brazilian winger, who can also play centrally or as a striker, is a proven quantity at Premier League level and he would add some real talent, flair and skill to the Manchester United team.

Our landlord believes that Willian would be a great signing for Manchester United.
