You could forgive some Tottenham fans for not knowing much about young Juan Foyth. The Argentine defender joined the club last summer from Argentine outfit Estudiantes and he’s failed to make his mark and get into the senior squad in time in North London. According to the Daily Mail, though, via Birmingham Live, Leeds United are keen on taking the player on loan.

Foyth is an exciting young prospect. His calmness and ability to play out from the back will make him a tidy defender one day and in the games he has played in for Tottenham he’s really shown that he can be relied upon, however, Mauricio Pochettino seems to think the Premier League is a step too far for the youngster. Last season saw the Argentine make eight appearances for the Lillywhites and he was only on the losing side once.
Pochettino threw the youngster in for five FA Cup games, two League cup matches and one Champions League clash. He failed to play any minutes in the Premier League despite the fact he was given a place on the bench on 16 occasions. The fans seem to think a move to Leeds would be a positive one for the 20-year-old. Marcelo Bielsa plays exciting football and it would definitely be positive for the player himself to get some more game time.

Would like to see him get more game time at Spurs, especially if we’re playing 3 at the back more. However, watching Leeds last night, would be a perfect team for him to develop. Bielsa Ball was very easy on the eye

A loan move would be a perfect fit for all involved

That would be a great loan for everyone. Would love to see him develop in their first team and come back and play some first team stuff for us next year. Just hope they’ve got a good gym at Leeds he needs to bulk up a bit.

I want him to get time but I also wish he’d work very close to poch, I have mixed feelings

If he gets some game time, then fair enough, I've seen enough of him to think HE WILL make the grade definitely #COYS

What I’ve seen of him, he ain’t bad. Likes playing out so might suit your new style. It’ll do him good playing in championship
