Liverpool will be looking to make it three wins from three on Saturday when they meet Brighton and Hove Albion at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have recorded a 4-0 win against West Ham United and a 2-0 victory against Crystal Palace.
However, they will be coming up against a Seagulls side that will be taking confidence with them following their shock victory over Manchester United last weekend.
The Croatia international has been suffering with a pelvic issue since returning to training following a hugely successful World Cup campaign and is not expected to feature for Liverpool for another month or so.
Klopp could, however, decide to name an unchanged side for the third match in a row, although that remains to be seen.
Liverpool have had a great start to the Premier League season and Klopp will be determined to see it continue.
The German will know Brighton will be a difficult game for his side to navigate and will be demanding that his players do not become complacent, especially after the Seagulls’ surprise victory against Man United.
Klopp will be pleased that he can name an unchanged side once again, although he could decide to make a few changes.
