The media outlet claims that the Reds sent scouts to watch the highly-rated midfielder in action on Tuesday, in Porto’s fixture with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Our landlord here in the Tavern feels this would be an incredibly astute signing for Klopp and his Liverpool side, as the 18-year-old is technically one of the best midfielders in world football, and he’s so ridiculously young!

The publication suggests that Liverpool are winning the race to sign the talented midfielder, who could become Klopp’s first signing during his tenure at the Merseyside outfit.

Our resident Liverpool fans have faith in Klopp, and feel the addition of someone like Ruben Neves would be fantastic, as the youngster clearly has what it takes to compete in the higher echelons of European football!
