The Manchester City fans in the Transfer Tavern are gearing up for what promises to be the biggest week of their season. Victory over Manchester United tomorrow secures the Citizens the Premier League title whilst on Tuesday Pep Guardiola’s side is tasked with overturning a 3-0 first leg loss against Liverpool. Although it could all be made easier after the City fans read this news about Sergio Aguero.

The City fans propping our bar up absolutely adore Sergio Aguero. The Argentine is the club’s all-time record goalscorer and was the star in the Premier League’s most dramatic moment when he scored with the last kick of the game back in 2012 to ensure that Manchester City won the Premier League over Manchester United on goal difference.
The 29-year-old will be hoping to give City fans another famous memory as he’ll be hoping he can be fit for both the Manchester derby and the Champions League quarter-final second leg. Having Aguero starting in both games in unlikely, meaning Guardiola will most likely look at the bigger picture and save him for Liverpool on Tuesday as he hopes to progress to the semi-finals despite being drummed 3-0 at Anfield on Wednesday.
