The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have spent most of the season complaining about the business that their side conducted throughout the summer transfer window.
It was far from the most successful summer window for the Blues, with Antonio Conte unable to bring in as much quality as fans have been used to in recent seasons.
Even the players that he did bring in have struggled, with Alvaro Morata, in particular, disappointing fans.
The Spaniard has been decent at times, and he made a very strong start to life in England, but his poor run of form has fallen in line with Chelsea’s disappointing fall from grace – and that’s a key reason as to why he’s become so unpopular with fans.
Unfortunately, despite a recent slight upturn in form, it doesn’t appear as though the fans are going to be leaping out to defend their striker anytime soon.
Chelsea recently posted an interview with the Spaniard over on their official Twitter page in which he runs through his day-to-day activities at their Cobham training base. On the surface, you wouldn’t think that would generate many angry responses, but the fans on Twitter are sounding pretty frustrated in their replies to the post.

Indeed, with many pointing towards his lack of physicality on the pitch – and others simply commenting on his poor form – it’s probably best that Morata stays away from the replies to this Tweet.
Take a look at what they’ve had to say below…
