Juventus boss wants Chelsea or Man United job

AllegriManchester United and Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern, seeing it what they hope will be a 2016 full of better fortune, are reacting to claims that a high-profile manager wants to move to England.

The Mirror states Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is learning English as he eyes a job at Manchester United or Chelsea, both of whom will be looking for new managers at the end of the season.

Chelsea recently appointed Guus Hiddink until the end of the season after sacking Jose Mourinho, whilst Louis Van Gaal is planning his retirement next summer- though the poor form of the Red Devils means he may not last the full duration of his contract.

Allegri currently has 18 months remaining on his contract with Juventus and is on Roman Abramovich’s shortlist of potential recruits next summer. The Italian has enjoyed vast success in Turin, winning the double and leading Juventus to the Champions League final last season.

Our regulars believe Allegri would be a huge success in England and many believe he’d be perfect for Manchester United, whilst also stating he’d do a good job with Chelsea.
