The future of Chelsea’s Frank Lampard is being debated upon over by the jukebox in the Football Transfer Tavern, with Jamie Sanderson of the Metro linking Juventus to the 34-year-old.
Lampard has less than seven months remaining on his Chelsea contract, with interim manager Rafael Benitez revealing last week that he doesn’t expect him to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge.
And the England man’s advisors, reckon a move to the Serie A leaders could be inspired.
MLS outfits LA Galaxy and New York Red Bulls are both keen to make lucrative offers but Juventus are the front runners according to Corriere Dello Sport.
A switch to Italy would allow Lampard to continue to feature in the Champions League, at a club that has a reputation for rejuvenating ageing players careers such as Andrea Pirlo.
Lampard is free to negotiate a pre-contract deal in the January transfer window, however is understood to want to make a decision about his future at the end of the season.
