According to the Daily Star, Juventus are planning to beat Real Madrid into landing current Los Blancos loanee Javier Hernandez on a permanent deal once he has completed the 2014/15 campaign.
The Mexican international forward moved to the Champions League winners this summer on a season-long loan deal with an option for Los Blancos to sign him on a permanent deal.
But it has come about that Juve are now monitoring the 26-year-old and are investigating the possibility of signing him once his loan spell at the Bernabeu has finished.
Punters in the tavern say that the Serie A outfit are desperate to add to their firepower and will hope to add Hernandez to their set of former Manchester United stars alongside Carlos Tevez, Paul Pogba and Patrice Evra.
And it is unknown as to whether or not Real Madrid will commit to sign him on a permanent deal as he is current playing second fiddle to Karim Benzema.
However despite not starting, Hernandez last month revealed his delight to join Madrid and it looks like he isn’t giving up on displacing Benzema just yet.
“To play for Real Madrid is the first miracle in my life,” he said.
“People who know me, know that I think like this. I’m going to give blood, sweat and tears for this shirt.”
