Tottenham Hotspur will be desperate to secure a top four spot in the current campaign, but their recent loss against Arsenal in the North London derby certainly won’t have helped.
The Lilywhites will be desperate to complete their North London revival later on today as they look to move on from their derby day defeat at the Emirates, with a victory against the Foxes handing them a second successive win.
Interestingly, Tottenham Hotspur will travel to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester City in their next Premier League fixture. The Foxes have been rather impressive under Claude Puel this season and have European ambitions of their own, so they’ll be looking to make their home advantage count.
So, these TWO Tottenham stars need to hit top form today…
The Englishman is arguably one of the best strikers in the Premier League and he has the ability to unlock any defence on his day, so Spurs will be relying on him to produce a piece of magic up against a Leicester City defence that currently hold one of the best defensive records outside of the top-six.
Christian Eriksen hasn’t really managed to have as bigger impact as many supporters would have hoped for on the goals front in the current campaign, but he has managed to produce a large number of assists.
The Denmark international is great at finding pockets of space in behind the opposition’s midfield, which could be the one area that he enjoys success in against the Foxes. If Harry Kane manages to drag the defenders deeper by looking to get in behind, then Eriksen could have a field day at the King Power.
