Liverpool will be hoping to finish the season with a bang after getting off to an excellent start to 2018 and finally inflicting defeat on Manchester City last weekend.
This week, they will be preparing to face a tough tie away at relegation threatened Swansea, and the Reds manager Jurgen Klopp will no doubt be fully expecting his squad to continue their fine run of form and dispatch the Swans with relative ease.
Here in the Tavern though, most of the talk this week has been about the January and summer transfer windows, and just who else Liverpool may go and sign.
With the big money capture of Virgil Van Dijk already in the bank, and the incoming arrival of Naby Keita in the summer, the Reds could well do with addressing one or two more positions, with a key area to identify for the club being in goal.
Here, our landlord thinks that the Reds need to ensure they go all out and sign Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who has been impressing once again this term.
However, Navas has always seemed to not be the one that those in charge at the Bernabeu really want, with constant stories of the likes of Thibaut Courtois and David De Gea being linked with the club.
This is where Liverpool need to swoop though, and signing Navas could be the icing on the cake and address what everyone in football can see has been a massive problem at Anfield for the last two seasons.
Liverpool fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
