Kenedy and Joselu have made fools of themselves - Newcastle United

Newcastle United currently find themselves at risk of slipping into the relegation zone as they’re currently only two points above Cardiff City who are in 18th position.

The Magpies have managed to win two of their last three Premier League fixtures, including securing victory over Manchester City, so things are looking up for the Tyneside club.

But, one thing that has let them down up until this point has been a couple of first-team members, as the likes of Joselu and Kenedy have made fools of themselves at St James’ Park in the current campaign.

Indeed, the Spaniard has had another season to forget as he just doesn’t seem to know how to find the back of the net, with a place on the substitutes’ bench being the norm. And, he recently suffered an injury but that won’t have made any difference to the Magpies’ season as he’s been in Salomon Rondon’s shadow over the past couple of months, with a summer exit looking inevitable. His lack of quality in the final third and laziness has been one of the Magpies’ biggest problems this season, so fans certainly won’t be in any rush to see him back in the side.

Kenedy joined from Chelsea on a season-long loan during the summer transfer window after a fantastic spell at St James’ Park last season. But, things just haven’t worked out for him as he’s gone from hero to zero on Tyneside, with errors and a lack of attacking quality constantly letting him down. The Brazilian is a liability as his decision-making and attitude has caused problems on the field for the Magpies. He really has damaged his chances of potentially securing a permanent move to St James’ Park as his performances in the current campaign have been embarrassing.

Newcastle United fans – thoughts on the two players involved?
