Key journalist reveals it will take Champions League football to tempt this star to Anfield this summer

It’s set to be a frantic couple of weeks for Liverpool in the Premier League as Jurgen Klopp does his best to ensure Champions League football will be coming to Anfield next season!

The Reds are in a real battle with the likes of Manchester City, United and Arsenal to bring top-flight European football to their grounds next campaign but the Liverpool fans lining the bar are confident their side can do it with just a handful of games left to play.

Of course, Champions League football is a massive pulling factor when it comes to bringing in potential signings and and one man that has been linked with a move to Anfield over the summer is RB Leipzig winger Naby Keita.

The former Salzburg man has been tipped as a potential target this summer but according to Daily Mirror reporter Kristian Walsh, it’s going to take Champions League football to bring him to Anfield.

“The 22-year-old has been a revelation for the Bundesliga club this season, attracting attention from a number of Europe’s top clubs,” Walsh said.

“Liverpool are one of those, although they appreciate Champions League football will be needed to tempt him to Anfield,” he added.

Liverpool host Southampton at Anfield on Sunday, with nerves building amongst their supporters here in the Tavern!
