West Ham United have been one of a number of clubs being linked with a move for Inter Milan’s Gabriel Barbosa.
The Hammers are thought to be interested in bolstering their attacking line and the Brazil international has been a man touted to join them at the London Stadium in January.
Crystal Palace and Everton have also been linked with moves to try and bring the 22-year-old to the Premier League, however, West Ham could look to use their previous business connections with Kia Joorabchian, who is the player’s agent, to land him.
Joorabchian famously helped to bring Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano to the Irons and he could look to do the same with ‘Gabigol’, although many at West Ham are unhappy with the way the controversial Iranian operates.
Barbosa has been in great form this season for Santos, where he spent the season on loan, netting 18 goals and a move is more than likely to happen in January.
With doubts over Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic’s futures at the London Stadium, Manuel Pellegrini is believed to be looking at possible options to bring to the capital.
However, Joorabchian is not necessarily a well-liked figure at West Ham and with him being involved, it could be a deal that they decide to stick well away from.
