Tottenham Hotspur managed to secure all three points against Crystal Palace yesterday as Juan Foyth scored his first goal for the club.
The Lilywhites will be desperate to kick on and challenge for the Premier League title under Mauricio Pochettino, having won their last four games in all competitions. Although, they did suffer a big setback on the injury front recently, as according to Sun Sport, Mauricio Pochettino doesn’t know if Kieran Trippier’s injury is a big issue.
Indeed, the right-back limped out of Spurs’ 1-0 win at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
Kieran Trippier went down clutching his thigh in the 24th-minute before he was replaced by Serge Aurier after a lengthy delay.
“I hope that it’s not a big issue (for Trippier). We don’t know. The medical staff is going to assess, and the medical staff with England will assess as well. It was his groin.”
The right-back has been an influential player for Spurs in recent times and will play a huge part in the current campaign. But, they may be without him for a period of time as Pochettino is currently unaware of whether it is a big issue or not, with him still yet to be assessed.
So, Spurs will be hoping for the best in what could be a potentially huge setback, depending on the severity.
