Klopp must give Origi and Keita the chance to tear Burnley apart

Liverpool will be full of confidence heading into tonight’s game after securing a late victory against bitter rivals Everton in the Merseyside derby last time out.

The Reds continue to put the pressure on Manchester City in the race for the Premier League title, with an elusive piece of silverware well within Jurgen Klopp’s reach.

Interestingly, Liverpool will travel to Turf Moore to face Burnley in their next Premier League fixture. The Clarets have struggled to ensure consistency under Sean Dyche so far this season, so the Reds will fancy themselves.

Of course, with the Reds facing a busy December schedule, Jurgen Klopp should give these TWO players a chance to tear Burnley apart tonight…

DIVOCK ORIGI

Divock Origi has struggled to work his way into Jurgen Klopp’s plans this season due to the Reds already having one of the most dangerous attacks in world football.

However, he made a name for himself in the Merseyside derby recently by scoring the winning goal in the dying embers, so he could be set for an extended period in the side.

Therefore, Klopp should gift him a rare chance in the starting lineup, which would provide him with the opportunity  to try and revive his Liverpool career by adding to his goal tally.

NABY KEITA

Naby Keita signed from RB Leipzig back in the summer transfer window for a reported £48 million, but he is yet to really repay the Reds on the field as he continues to disappoint.

To be fair to the Guinea international, he hasn’t been gifted a large amount of opportunities in the side, with most of his appearances coming from off the substitutes’ bench.

So, tonight’s game against Burnley will provide him with the perfect opportunity to show Liverpool exactly why they were right to splash the cash to bring him to Anfield.

His pace and ability to beat a man in the middle of the park will automatically put Liverpool in dangerous areas, which would put a vulnerable Burnley defence on the back foot, with the Reds’ potent attackers waiting to pounce.
