Klopp urges Liverpool to seal transfer of Bundesliga striker

HernandezLiverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern aren’t happy with how their season has turned out but they’ve stated they do believe Jurgen Klopp has ensured progression, as they praise their German boss over a few pints.

Whilst the January transfer window was largely quiet for the Liverpool boss, Klopp is set to make wholesale changes come the summer and it seems he’s already identified his top target.

ITA Sport Press state Klopp has urged the Liverpool board to sign Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez, who has become one of the most formidable forwards in Europe after leaving Manchester United last summer.

Mexican international Hernandez has shown the Red Devils what they’re missing with a tremendous tally of 22 goals in 26 games and Klopp wants the exceptional forward at Anfield next season, which wouldn’t go down well in Manchester.

However, Liverpool will face competition for the talented striker as his form has attracted Europe’s big guns and it’s stated Arsenal, along with Bayern Munich, also want the top-class forward.

That could prove problematic for the Reds, as both clubs would be able to offer Champions League football that Liverpool have found beyond their reach this term.

Our landlord believes Hernandez would jump at the chance to probe himself in the Premier League though and has urged the board to listen to Klopp’s demands.

Liverpool fans, is Hernandez the top-class striker you’re crying out for? Let us know in the comments below!
