Koeman on the verge of yet another Everton deal as £15.3m rated target travels to Finch Farm

The Everton fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern have been in a daze ever since the summer window began, with new signings arriving from all angles.

After deals for Jordan Pickford, Davy Klaassen and Henry Onyekuru were announced, the club look to be on the verge of their fourth addition.

Sky Sports News reporter Ben Ransom has published footage of Burnley defender Michael Keane arriving at the Toffees’ Finch Farm training ground ahead of the second stage of his medical on Monday afternoon ahead of his move from Turf Moor.

The England international, who is greeted by fellow Three Lion and Everton skipper Phil Jagielka at the training ground gates, enjoyed a stellar season under Sean Dyche last term and has become one of the hottest prospects this summer.

The £15,3m-rated defender was a mainstay for the Clarets last term, having established himself after a permanent move from Manchester United two years ago.

Our landlord reckons that, while manager Ronald Koeman has already landed a number of his targets, this won’t be the end of their summer business as the Merseysiders look to break the top six in the new season.
