Koln Move Last Nail In Hammers Coffin?

West Ham defender Jonathan Spector could be out of Upton Park quicker than Avram Grant as rumours abound that the American international could be the first to leave the sinking ship.

Bundesliga club FC Koln are interested the 24-year old who would join several other Americans in the German top flight, like Riccardo Clark, Michael Bradley and Steve Cherundolo.

Koln see the ex-Manchester United youngster as the perfect addition to a defence that is leaking over two goals a game, something Spector will be used to at West Ham, and need to improve that to get out of a relegation scrap, another thing Spector will be used to, that includes Stuttgart, Schalke and Wolfsburg.

David Gold will probably be ex’Spector’ing to get at least £3-4m for him in order to help the rebuilding process in order to get back into the Premier League before moving into the Olympic Stadium.

Well, either that, or they may want the money for Avram Grant’s severance pay!
