Arsenal have been one of the form teams in the Premier League in recent times as things appear to be coming together nicely under Unai Emery.
The Gunners have an outside chance of challenging for the Premier League title after holding Liverpool to a 1-1 draw not so long ago, and are going strong in the Europa League.
However, the London club have plenty of other things to worry about besides silverware and success, with there being potential departures in the January transfer window.
Emery has a couple of fringe players at the club at this moment in time and needs to make more room for any potential January additions, so it’s about time he and Stan Kroenke worked together to get rid of any wasted talent.
With that in mind, Emery and Kroenke must shift this flop in January…
Carl Jenkinson has been in the darkness at the Emirates over the past couple of seasons but he is finally seeing some action in the red shirt, as he featured against Blackpool and Sporting Lisbon recently.
However, the full-back still faces an uphill task to enjoy any minutes in the Premier League as the likes of Hector Bellerin, Nacho Monreal, Sead Kolasinac, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Ainsley Maitland-Niles all remain ahead of him in the pecking order at this moment in time.
So, Emery and Kroenke simply must get rid of him in January as they’ll need to strengthen if they are to challenge for silverware, with a packed defence already.
