West Ham United are thought to be chasing Krzysztof Piatek this January as they look for a new striker to lead their forward line.
The Hammers are thought to have made two offers already for the hitman rejected, per The Daily Mail, as they look to find a possible replacement for Marko Arnautovic, who has been touted with a move to China.
However, a report in Italy appears to have stated that the Poland international has ruled out any possibility of moving to the London Stadium.
According to La Repubblica, via Sport Witness, Piatek ‘aspires to something more’ than playing for West Ham, with rumours about a switch to AC Milan seemingly more likely at this stage.
The 23-year-old has been in fine form for Genoa this season, having registered 19 goals this season in Serie A.
West Ham’s chances of landing Piatek look to be dwindling as each day passes by at the moment with each report that comes out.
There is no doubt the 23-year-old would have been a huge coup for the Hammers, however, they would have hoped they would have been ambitious enough option for the Poland international to join.
Now, it would appear that Manuel Pellegrini will need to look elsewhere if he is to find a striker this winter.
