Kurt Zouma must start for Everton against Bournemouth

Everton have made a rather impressive start to their Premier League campaign as they are still yet to lose a top-flight fixture under Marco Silva.

The Toffees will have their sights set on securing a European spot after the start they’ve made to the campaign, with a number of summer signings still waiting to be inserted into the side. So, with plenty of players waiting in the wings at Goodison Park, it’s about time Marco Silva started ringing in the changes.

Marco Silva’s side will travel to the Vitality Stadium to face Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth next. The Cherries find themselves near the top of the table having taken maximum points from their opening two Premier League fixtures, so they won’t be an easy challenge to overcome.

Interestingly, one man who is yet to feature for Everton is summer signing Kurt Zouma, who signed on loan from Chelsea towards the end of the transfer window.

The Frenchman was one of the shining lights for Stoke City last season, despite them suffering relegation to the Championship under Paul Lambert.

However, the Blues defender has a point to prove this season as he may look to push for a permanent place at Stamford Bridge next season if he can ensure consistency at Goodison Park.

And, having taken the Toffees’ recent defensive displays into consideration, it’s about time Silva thought about drafted some of his defensive summer signings into the side as constant mistakes could prove costly.
