Spurs will be hoping to seal a top four spot this season once more, and will be keen for a positive end to the season following this week’s exit from the Champions League at the hands of Juventus.
The Londoners have once again proved to be one of the most exciting teams to watch in the Premier League, and their core of Dele Alli, Harry Kane, and Christian Eriksen is as good as any in the Premier League.
This summer will once again prove pivotal for the club, with the European big boys likely to come sniffing for their key men, and Mauricio Pochettino looking to add some more quality to his ranks and dispurse with any players he feels might not be up to it.
Two players who could be up for the chop for the club are midfielders Erik Lamela and Moussa Sissoko, who have both played bit parts for the majority of the season.
While it might seem harsh on Lamela, who has missed plenty of the action this through injury, but there is definitely more of a case to be made for Sissoko, who has often looked short of the quality needed to compete in the top four ever since making his big money move from Newcastle.
While Lamela is likely to be give more time by Pochettino to prove his worth, it could well be that Sissoko finds his time with the club is up. A £30m signing, the Londoners will be hoping to recoup at least some of that money, and this summer might be the last chance they have to get a decent fee for the Frenchman.
