Last chance: Moyes must give these 2 Sunderland players another opportunity to shine

Shock! Sunderland are in another relegation scrap and the Mackems in the Transfer Tavern are not happy.

The club sit seven points from Premier League safety and our landlord believes that David Moyes’ men are condemned to relegation to the Championship.

With that said, that could not be the worst thing for the Black Cats who have been dicing with relegation for the last couple years with Paolo Di Canio, Gus Poyet and Sam Allardyce all performing Houdini like escapes in the last few seasons.

Our resident Sunderland fans have simply had enough of seeing their team underperform and are calling for drastic changes to be made by David Moyes to his team.

Furthermore, our landlord cannot believe that anyone associated with the management at Sunderland thought the squad assembled was Premier League quality – with so many different combinations used and a lack of continuity, it really seems like it is a mess at the Stadium of Light, and a year in the Championship could be good in order to establish a plan in the club moving forward.

In the mean time, the Black Cats still have nine games to play in which they will be fighting for Premier League survival and although there are not many bright points at the club, our resident Mackems have been discussing who they believe should be given a chance between now and the end of the season.
