The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have been growing increasingly concerned at their prospects ahead of this weekend’s clash with Chelsea…
The Gunners have struggled this year, whilst Chelsea have been mightily impressive – and a recent injury report had made things even worse for the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern.
Shkodran Mustafi had been touted as a doubt for the game, worsening Arsenal’s already concerning injury list in the leadup to the game. What’s more, Laurent Koscielny is set to miss the game through suspension – potentially leaving Wenger with very options defensively.
However, Ben Dinnery has since provided an update on the matter – and he has revealed that Mustafi should be fit to face the Blues this weekend.

This is a great boost for the Gunners, with things beginning to look rather worrying earlier today. Had Wenger been without Mustafi and Koscielny, Arsenal may have really struggled against Chelsea – but the news that the German should be fit is certainly a welcome boost.
Our landlord is expecting a tight game on Saturday, and provided Arsenal are able to put together a decent defence, he even thinks the Gunners could steal it.
