Leaked Arsenal kit for 2016/17 genuinely horrific, ignores club tradition

Screen Shot 2016-04-08 at 11.39.06There’s been uproar in the Transfer Tavern from Arsenal supporters recently, after a leaked design for the Gunners 2016/17 kit emerged.

Surfacing on social media, Arsenal’s rumoured home kit for next season is a far-cry to what many Gooners expect with the most notable factor of the kit being blue shorts, as the Gunners have had white shorts with their home stripe ever since 1899.

With a blue trim on the jersey, and a prominent placement for the Premier League’s awful new logo, Arsenal fans are understandably unhappy with the design and the red, white and blue colours replicate a United States jersey.

It is worth noting though that a number of rumoured kits usually surface this time of year and it was just a week ago when we brought you another design, which is fair more traditional and seems like a more likely look for the Gunners.

Nevertheless, until Arsenal release official word about their new kits, Gooners reserve the right to be concerned that traditions will be axed during a time when money talks.

Arsenal fans, what are your thoughts on this design? Let us know in the comments below!
