Leeds confirm the signing of Jack Harrison

Leeds United have started to enjoy the transfer window this summer as Marcelo Bielsa continues his efforts to strengthen his squad.

The Whites are looking to get back into the Premier League, however, they have been left largely frustrated with their recruitment as deals appear to have collapsed.

Bielsa, who was brought to Elland Road this summer to try and turn things around, has seen a number of attempts fail to land his top priorities, however, things appear to be looking better for the Yorkshire outfit.

Leeds have already completed the loan signings of Jamal Blackman and Lewis Baker from Chelsea for the whole of next season, whilst they also managed to complete a permanent deal for Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Barry Douglas.

The club are thought to be on the verge of completing a move for Middlesbrough’s Patrick Bamford as well, however, the club have been able to confirm the arrival of another shock addition.

According to a statement released on the club’s official website, Manchester City’s Jack Harrison has joined the club on a season-long loan, becoming the fourth player to join up at Elland Road.

The Verdict:

Harrison will offer Leeds plenty going forward as he has plenty of pace and creativity that he can offer the side.

The England Under-21 international will want to prove that he can play at the Championship level after a failed time with Middlesbrough and will feel the opportunity with the Whites will be his best chance.

Bielsa will be delighted to have added Harrison to the side, however, he will now be looking to turn his attention to other transfer targets before the window shuts.
