Leeds United will be disappointed with their performance at the Riverside Stadium yesterday as they dropped even more points, with a late Kalvin Phillips equaliser saving the day.
The Whites desperately need to improve if they are to stand any chance of securing promotion in the current campaign, as Sheffield United and West Bromwich Albion both managed to close the gap.
Although, it appears as if Leeds could bring James Milner back to Elland Road, as according to The Express (via Teamtalk), Jurgen Klopp could use the Englishman to sweeten a potential deal for Jack Clarke.
Klopp wants Liverpool to launch a bid to recruit Clarke even if Leeds seal promotion from the Championship this season, with an offer of £18 million being readied.
And, it’s claimed James Milner could head the other way to Elland Road in order to sweeten the deal, with Klopp not standing in Milner’s way if he could tempt Clarke into moving to Anfield.
So, the Whites could welcome the Premier League star back in the summer months, but at a great expense as losing Jack Clarke would be gutting for supporters.
Indeed, the youngster has the potential to become a future star of the game and has already established himself as one of the standout performers in the Championship, but it may be hard for him to turn down a move to one of the leading sides in English football.Like what the TT have on offer?
