Leeds United will have their sights set firmly on promotion to the Premier League having enjoyed a strong start to the current campaign.
Indeed, the Whites have already drafted in a number of players this summer as Marcelo Bielsa continues to build a side worthy of winning promotion. And, it doesn’t look as if he’s finished just yet, as according to Hartlepool Mail, Leeds United are working on a deal for Muhamed Besic.
Interestingly, Leeds United, along with Middlesbrough and Swansea City, are interested in the services of Everton midfielder Muhamed Besic, and are looking to take the midfielder on loan.
Leeds had been linked with a potential move for the Bosnian earlier this summer, but it appeared that a permanent move for the midfielder had been made, only for it to fall apart at the last minute.
So, despite Middlesbrough’s ongoing interest in the central midfielder, they are receiving stiff competition for his signature from Leeds United, who could benefit from bringing in a midfield general.
The Whites appear to be in the running for Muhamed Besic’s signature as things begin to hot up. Indeed, the Bosnian has been a long-term target for Middlesbrough and a permanent deal seemed in the offing, but after things broke down a couple of other Championship clubs have reportedly joined the race.
Leeds United won’t have been too impressed with Adam Forshaw’s performances last season and will be desperate to see a replacement sometime soon, so this could be where Besic comes into the picture.
