Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t really be brought back down to Earth at the moment with the way things are going.
Indeed, having beaten Brighton last time out the Whites still have a chance of getting into the promotion places whilst their play-off qualification is looking pretty cemented at the moment.
The key now, of course, is to keep pushing and make sure momentum is carried into the final stages of the season regardless of where they finish.
Garry Monk has certainly put together a good side, then, but it seems as though young stopper Theo Richardson will not be part of things anymore with him making his debut for massive rivals Man Utd in their latest U18 game.
Indeed, he pretty much confirmed the move on his Twitter account too:
Good debut for @ManUtd today, thought the boys were class and we deserved more from the game! On to the next one
— Theo Richardson (@TheoR_1998) March 18, 2017
United’s website, meanwhile, still refers to Richardson as a trialist but it certainly looks as though he is going to make one of the most fierce switches in football – following the likes of Alan Smith and Rio Ferdinand.
