The Leeds United fans who are competing in a pool tournament in The Transfer Tavern this evening are discussing reports that the club have yet to receive a bid for one of their players.
The Yorkshire Evening Post is reporting that the club have received no bids to date for youngster Charlie Taylor.
The Yorkshire club have been quick to dismiss speculation regarding the youngster already holding talks with Premier League sides Stoke City and Liverpool.
Taylor was in inspired form for the Championship last season and was awarded the club’s player of the season award for his efforts last term.
New Leeds head coach Garry Monk is eager to hold on to the club’s young talent with speculation that Taylor, Lewis Cook and Alex Mowett could all be the subject of speculation this summer.
All three are contracted to the club until the end of next season and Monk knows how important it is to keep hold of the key players for a promotion push to the Premier League come next season.
