Leeds United considering move for Premier League defender

The Leeds United fans who are competing in a pool tournament in The Transfer Tavern this evening, are discussing reports linking their club with a move for a promising young defender.

According to a report on HITC Sport, the West Yorkshire outfit are considering a move for highly rated Tottenham defender Dominic Ball.

The future of the youngster has been a hot topic this summer with Rangers keen to take the youngster back to Ibrox following a successful campaign for the club, in a season that finished with club as champions of the Scottish Championship and runners up in the Scottish Cup.

He made 30 appearances in all competitions during the campaign, and those impressive performances for the Glasgow giants has led to numerous enquiries from club’s about a potential loan move for the upcoming season.

Leeds manager Garry Monk is a big admirer of the 21-yea- old and is hopeful that he can persuade Tottenham to let the player gain more experience, by letting him join the ranks at Elland Road on a season long loan deal for next season.

Our landlord thinks this would be a beneficial move for all parties involved, and hopes to see a deal materialise!
