Leeds United continue to look like big promotion contenders in the Championship this term as Marcelo Bielsa has his team in full flow near the top of the league.

The Whites have been putting together some scintillating performances, and if things carry on as they are and they ride their luck a bit, we could well see Elland Road hosting Premier League football once again in the near future.

However, it is a long season in the second tier, and with the January window around the corner, we at the Tavern think that the club should be looking to add some more new faces to the ranks in order to ensure they remain in the hunt.

One club we think who could be open to lending a few players are former Premier League champions Leicester City, who have a squad full of talent meaning some players remain out of the picture.

With that in mind, we've taken a look at TWO players from the King Power Stadium who'd be shrewd additions for Leeds United in January...

Fousseni Diabate

The young forward is a talented player, but is finding first team chances hard to come by.

A loan move to a club the size of Leeds might do him the world of good, and he would give the Whites something different in terms of their attacking play.

Quick, tricky, and with a point to prove, the Foxes forward would make a sound addition at Elland Road.

Andy King

Another player who has been on the periphery of things for the Foxes is club legend Andy King, and he might well fancy a move away to get some first team football under his belt.

King is a superb professional and might well be just the sort of player who Bielsa would love in his Leeds squad.

If the Whites want a reliable midfielder capable of chipping in with the odd goal, King would make a superb addition.
