Leeds United are in for another exciting summer of transfer activity, and following the surprise departure of Garry Monk, they will be looking to rebuild over the summer.
New gaffer Thomas Christiansen will be hoping to make some exciting additions to his newly inherited squad, and the Leeds fans here in the Tavern are looking forward to seeing just who their new gaffer plumps for.
Our landlord has some of his own ideas though, and following a few pints with the Leeds lot this week, he thinks that one player they should swoop for is current Man City man Patrick Roberts.
The 20-year-old had a successful spell at Celtic last season, where he notched nine goals in an impressive spell North of the border, leading to some admiring glances from a whole host of clubs back in England.
However, a spell in the Championship could be the making of Roberts, and a move to someone like Leeds, who play in front of big crowds and expectations week in week out, could be good for the forward.
Leeds would also be getting an excellent player on their hands, and Roberts is someone who could well add some real attacking quality to the Leeds squad. Roberts offers pace, trickery, and goals from all the attacking positions, and he would be an excellent capture on a loan deal for the Whites.
Leeds fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know!
