The Leicester City fans who are competing in a pool tournament in The Transfer Tavern this evening are discussing comments made by their manager with regards to his right hand men.
The Leicester Mercury is reporting that Claudio Ranieri has urged Craig Shakespeare and Steve Walsh to sign new contracts with the Premier League leaders.
The duo have been a vital part of the coaching setup at the club this season, and Ranieri is eager that the current negotiations between the duo whose contracts expire at the end of next season and the club come to a swift conclusion. Speaking about the duo, Ranieri said:
“They are very important. I ask them to sign the contacts because I have a very good relationship with all my staff. I prefer everyone is happy with me, contracts, and everything.”
“Yes, the sooner they can sign everybody is happy and we can continue to grow up.”
The Leicester fans in The Tavern are fully behind their managers comments and would love the duo to sign new deals with the club and look forward to the closing weeks of the current season.
