Leicester City have certainly come on leaps and bounds under the guidance of Claude Puel in the current campaign, with a European spot well within their reach.
The Foxes managed to bring in a number of quality players during the summer transfer window, with the likes of James Maddison and Ricardo Pereira hitting top form already at the club. And, it appears as if the Midlands club are looking at securing a big player agreement, as according to the Telegraph, Ben Chillwell is close to a new deal.
Ben Chilwell is close to signing a new contract with Leicester City after his recent promotion to the England squad.
Indeed, the defender is in advanced talks over a long-term deal and Leicester are confident of putting the finishing touches to negotiations over the next 48 hours.
“Ben finished well last season and started very well this season in the Premier League. He is impressive because for a young player he finds a good consistency in his play with a good performance all the time.”
Ben Chillwell impressed against Spain during the international break and has been one of the standout performers in the current campaign at the King Power Stadium, so it comes as no surprise that he’s in line for a new contract.
Indeed, the Foxes have themselves one of the most promising full-backs in English football, so getting a deal over the line would be massive for them.
