Leicester City: Fans loved Jamie Vardy’s goal-hungry performance in win over Arsenal

Leicester City’s 2-0 win over Arsenal proved they’ve got the quality to beat the so-called ‘big six’ and cement a spot in the Champions League next year. The biggest influence on their spike in results, aside from their impressive manager, is Jamie Vardy’s return to his Premier League title-winning form
The 32-year-old’s decision to retire from international football seems to be the right one, having pushed himself to the top of the league’s scoring chart so far this term with 11 goals. He scored and assisted against Arsenal, but his overall work-rate stood out too, and the Mail Online agreed saying he “prowled the Arsenal back line like a hungry, caged animal desperate to break free”.
The club posted that Vardy was, once again, the league’s top scorer, one in front of Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham, and fans were quick to show their appreciation for the club legend, with some saying he’s the best striker in the league at the moment.

If someone still thinks there is a better striker in EPL now better than Vardy, that person is hopelessly irredeemable.
