Harvey Barnes has had one hell of a season so far. The 21-year-old signed for West Bromwich Albion on-loan in the Championship as a player that the majority of football fans wouldn’t have heard of. However, after a barnstorming first half of the season, Clause Puel has recalled the youngster, and the Foxes have already benefitted.

Barnes showed at West Brom just how good he is, and it looks like he has every intention of continuing his form in the Premier League now with Leicester. In 26 Championship matches, Barnes found the net nine times and registered seven assists to go with those goals as he made his name as one of the most talented players in the division, now though, he’s set to shine at the King Power.
Leicester’s #19 was incredibly unlucky not to have scored a goal on his return to the Foxes after his effort was deflected into the net by Conor Coady, going down as an own-goal for the Wolves defender. Throughout the game, in his 73 minutes on the pitch the 21-year-old was lovely, and on another day he could have been celebrating his return to Leicester City with a win.

The Foxes loved seeing Barnes in the starting lineup, and will hope it’s a sight that they see a lot more of in the coming weeks.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
