The Leicester City fans in the Football Transfer Tavern think that a departure could be on the cards…
Leicester City have not enjoyed the best start to the season – but it was always going to be difficult to follow last season’s title-winning heroics.
In truth, a mid-table finish is what the punters in the Football Transfer Tavern were expecting – and that looks set to be the case, judging from the Foxes’ early season form.
Claudio Ranieri looks likely to invest heavily in his side in the January transfer window, as he looks to rebuild his first team – and that process will undoubtedly begin with the sale of some of his surplus stars.
With Sunderland leading the chase for the attacker, the Telegraph is reporting that Leicester City are looking to demand around £10 million for the forward. They add that Leicester would be open to selling him, but they feel that his recent form deserves a reflective price tag.
The Leicester City fans in the Football Transfer Tavern think that whilst Leicester are unlikely to get £10m for the ageing attacker – a move definitely makes sense.
The Sunderland fans are also fairly hesitant about the price – and they think that Moyes could do far better if he looks elsewhere.
Whilst Leicester’s demands appear lofty, there is no doubting how crucial Ulloa has been for the club over the last few years. He scored 6 goals in just 7 starts last season, whilst he bagged 11 in the previous season.
He has largely been used as an impact sub as of late, but he has proven his pedigree at the highest level.
