Leicester City continue to be a mainstay of the Premier League following their title success three years back.

The Foxes, now led by Claude Puel, continue to be a tough team to break down, and no Premier League club will enjoy going to the King Power Stadium at any point through the season.

The likes of Harry Maguire and Jamie Vardy are quality players who would get into many a top flight side, but we at the Tavern feel a bit more firepower might be needed for the club to continue to impress and make an impression.

That's why we think they should be taking a look into the Championship and making a move for Brentford striker Neal Maupay, who has been simply superb for the Bees this term.

The French ace has smashed in 12 goals already and looks every bit the Premier League striker if he continues to develop.

With Vardy not getting any young and Kelechi Iheanacho continuing to struggle to hit his top form, a new striker might be the ideal sort of signing for Leicester to look to make in January.

Maupay certainly fits the mould, and could well be a superb addition to the ranks if the Foxes can get a deal over the line.

Leicester fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
