Leicester City fans in the Transfer Tavern are still in dream land following on from their success this season, with the Premier league title looking likely for the Foxes they are already looking to strengthen their team in the summer.
Talksport cites reports in Europe that indicate Leicester City are interested in signing Virtus Lanciano winger Federico Di Francesco.
The 21-year-old Italian winger has impressed in Serie B this season and has scored seven goals in total. His impressive season has not gone unnoticed and Juventus have scouted the young winger several times this season and are reportedly ready to table a £2 million offer.
According to Corriere dello Sport though, Leicester City have joined the race to sign Federico Di Francesco and are ready to battle Juventus for his signature this summer.
Riyad Mahrez who has arguably been the player of the season could be heading for the exit door this summer with several clubs reportedly interested including Barcelona and Arsenal. If Mahrez was to leave Leicester, it is reported they would fight for a high price for their winger which is believed to be around £20 – £25 million and use the funds to bring in replacements.
Leicester have already guaranteed themselves a space in next year’s Champions League, which will help them attract the players they want, and with several new managerial arrivals next summer to direct rivals who are likely to spend millions, Leicester don’t want to stand still and want to continue his fairytale.
