Leicester City could secure themselves a European place if they manage to ensure consistency from here on in until the end of the season, with a couple of January signings helping their cause.
The Foxes managed to make a number of impressive summer transfer window moves, which included securing the likes of James Maddison, Ricardo Pereira and Rachid Ghezzal.
And, it looks as if Claude Puel is looking to potentially complete some business in the remaining days of the January transfer window, as according to the Daily Mail, Leicester are interested in signing Youri Tielemans.
Leicester are looking at Monaco’s Youri Tielemans.
Indeed, the 21-year-old has made 29 appearances for current club AS Monaco this season, with a healthy return of five goals and one assist from the middle of midfield.
Of course, the Foxes could do with bringing in a fresh face to provide more of an attacking edge in the middle of the park, as the likes of Nampalys Mendy and Wilfried Ndidi are unable to offer much in the final third.
Youri Tielemans, who is valued at £16.2 million (by Transfermarkt), has already showcased his talents in the Ligue 1 this season, but a move to the Premier League would provide him with more of a challenge.
The Belgian international loves to get forward and influence the game in the final third, as well as making use of his passing ability to create chances for teammates, so his style of play would benefit a fast-paced Leicester side.
