Leicester fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are looking miserable as they are witnessing their Premier League title-winning side being torn apart in this summer.
But there may be light at the end of the tunnel after MailOnline reported that the Foxes have put down an £8 million bid for Nice midfielder Nampalys Mendy.
Claudio Ranieri and board at the King Power Stadium are preparing themselves for a number of bids for their in-demand midfielder N’Golo Kante.
The midfielder took the Premier League by storm in his debut season and punters in the Tavern think he is going to move on this summer.
But Leicester may have to offer more than £8 million for Mendy, who would be an ideal replacement for Kante, because Nice are looking to hold out for £12 million.
As the summer continues to move on, rumours surrounding Leicester key stars continue grow as Arsenal have agreed to activate Jamie Vardy’s £20 million buy-out clause.
